We run authentic truffle hunts in the season (June, July and August) in Canterbury NZ. Plus we support artisan markets and fetes throughout the year. From a truffle hunt in gum boots followed by truffle tastings, to a truffle hunt followed by a full six-course degustation meal, prepared by a NZ chef, we have an event you’ll cherish.

The globule shaped Bianchetto Truffle has a rich earthy, garlic aroma that can be buried 15cm below the surface. Wander through our truffierre with your choice of mulled wine or spiced apple cider, finding and harvesting truffles with the help of our truffle dogs Bess and Buff.

Follow our truffle dogs as they smell out the truffles, then have a try at digging them for yourself. Once the hunt is completed, enjoy an six-course degustation meal prepared in front of you in an intimate setting with a professional chef.

The truffles were enjoyed by the guests with a wonderful meal prepared by the New Zealand Embassy Chef Mr. Damian. The tasting session was followed by a New Zealand sparkling wine with truffle in it and toast was held at the Embassy’s terrace.

The quality of the truffles was excellent. The chefs from some of the best restaurants in Japan, celebrities, politicians, journalists and many others we invited enjoyed it very much.
